Description

Breathe Pure, Weld Secure: Bohler Supplied Air PAPR – Overpressured Respiratory Protection for Ultimate Safety

In the demanding world of welding, safeguarding your respiratory health is non-negotiable. The Bohler Supplied Air PAPR (Powered Air-Purifying Respirator) system provides a superior level of protection by utilising a circulated, over-pressured air system within the helmet. This advanced supplied air respirator works by drawing compressed air from a reliable source – be it a compressor or an airline system – and delivering it through a durable air hose directly into the welding helmet.

The core principle of the Bohler Supplied Air lies in creating positive pressure inside the helmet. This constant supply of filtered air effectively prevents external contaminants, such as hazardous welding fumes, particulate matter, and gases, from entering the welder’s breathing zone. By maintaining a higher pressure within the helmet than the surrounding environment, the Bohler Supplied Air PAPR offers unparalleled respiratory protection, far exceeding the capabilities of standard dust masks or passive respirators in demanding welding fume extraction scenarios.

Engineered for comfort and durability, the belt-mounted unit is designed to be ergonomic and unobtrusive, allowing for freedom of movement while ensuring a continuous supply of purified air. The Bohler PAPR system is a testament to Bohler’s commitment to welding safety, offering a reliable and effective solution for professionals who require the highest level of respiratory protection in various heavy-duty welding applications and industrial environments. Investing in a Bohler Supplied Air PAPR is a direct investment in the long-term health and safety of your workforce.

Supplied Air Features

  • Circulated Over-pressured Air System: Delivers a continuous flow of filtered air into the helmet, creating positive pressure to prevent contaminant ingress for superior industrial respiratory protection.
  • Connection to Compressed Air Source: Compatible with both compressors and airline systems, offering flexibility for different workplace setups for professional welding safety
  • Belt-Mounted Unit: Ergonomically designed for comfortable and secure wear, allowing for freedom of movement during welding tasks
