Rogue ET 180i is a powerful and easy to handle entry level high frequency start TIG machine. It has been designed with ESAB DNA code which gives great robustness locked in very compact housing.
Lightweight, ergonomic handle, carry strap and long extension cables make Rogue ET the ideal solution for field applications. All variants of machines are suitable to work with generators (7kW).
Rogue ET 180i performs with exceptional arc characteristics, both in TIG and MMA mode. There is a broad number of advanced parameters that can be adjusted in TIG: gas pre flow, start current, ramp up time, ramp down time, finish current and post flow. All of these can be worked with 2 or 4 stroke mode. In MMA, user can adjust Hot Start or Arc Force, to match his best welding preferences or application. All of this can be quickly adjusted by simple and intuitive user interface.
Rogue breaks all the rules, giving entry-level welders premium accessories and everything you need to start welding, right out of the box. In fact, Rogue’s power stacks up against machines twice its price. Power Factor Control (PFC) technology allows for a highly efficient and steady arc that is resistant to power fluctuations. And it’s ideal for both main and generator power, delivering a duty cycle up to 25% at 200 A. Break away from convention with Rogue.
No other machine at this price point comes close to matching Rogue’s strength. Its robust and rigid fiberglass-molded housing is built to withstand impact after impact, in the shop or in the field. Like every ESAB machine, Rogue comes with our industry-leading, 3-year warranty for unbeatable peace of mind. Goodbye cheaply constructed welders, hello strength and toughness when you go Rogue.
Rogue’s compact and lightweight design makes it easy to carry from job to job – weighing in at 6.8 kg. or 8.4 kg. (depending on the model), with sturdy handles and a shoulder strap. Thanks to stable arc performance, you can use long extension cables to work in even the most remote locations, all without affecting weld quality. With its durable and weather-resistant housing and IP23S rating, Rogue is the definition of a portable workhorse.
No matter where you are working, Rogue is easy to use. In fact, it’s been tested in laboratories around the world to ensure it rises to global performance and usability standards. It comes with a large digital display that can be easily read from up to 25 metres away. The optional remote control even allows you to adjust current settings without going back to the machine. Plus, you can easily control the machine from the TIG torch, foot pedal or hand controller.
