Description

ESAB Filarc PZ6500 is a copper-coated, manganese-silicon alloyed rod for gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) of all general engineering and structural steels with a minimum yield strength of 420 MPa. The rod is usually welded with pure argon (I1) as the shielding gas. The copper coating helps to improve the conductivity of the rod and also provides some corrosion protection to the weld. The manganese and silicon in the alloy improve the strength and toughness of the weld. This rod is a versatile and reliable option for a variety of welding applications.
