Faster Welding With Pulse
Boost your productivity to even greater heights with the pulse welding process. Employing this technique is ideal for welding thin plate thicknesses and sheet metal, offering superior control over the weld pool. The pulse process also eliminates spatter, while the low heat input helps minimise the risk of damaging the steel. Ultimately, pulse welding is an effective way to achieve higher quality welds while improving overall efficiency.
Control Panels
DC HP
Control panel for TIG DC high-frequency welding with pulse. The panel is for Pi 200-500 where pulse welding is preferred for sheet metal, and where finish is important.
All pulse functions are controlled using the middle column of buttons. Each function has its own button so it is easy to switch on/off or adjust parameters.
AC/DC
Control panel for TIG AC (alternating current) and DC high-frequency welding with pulse. The panel is for Pi 200-500 where pulse is preferred, and if you ever need to weld in aluminium.
All AC functions are controlled using the top column of buttons. On all panels, the top left shows the welding cycle with associated elements that are open for adjustments, e.g. pre gas flow, start amp, slope up/down and post gas flow.
D.O.C (Dynamic Oxide Control)
Every Pi AC welding machine comes equipped with the D.O.C function (Dynamic Oxide Control), which offers a host of benefits. With D.O.C, you can enjoy a 30% increase in welding speed while also reducing your consumption of energy and tungsten electrodes. When welding aluminium, D.O.C ensures a narrow, controlled cleaning zone, allowing for greater precision and superior results. In short, D.O.C is a powerful tool that maximises the efficiency and effectiveness of your welding process.
Save Welding Settings
Offers a range of predefined programs with default welding settings for both AC and DC welding. These programs serve as a convenient starting point and can be adjusted to suit your specific welding requirements. Once you’ve fine-tuned a program to your liking, you can easily save it and recall it for future welding jobs. This feature saves you time and eliminates the hassle of constantly searching for your preferred settings, allowing you to focus on the welding process itself.
Synergy Plus – Pulse Welding
Introducing Synergy Plus – the ultimate solution for DC welding. This synergic pulse function produces a frequency-controlled pulse that can be a source of stress for some users. However, Synergy Plus filters out all disharmonic tones (frequencies), resulting in clean metallic tones that are much easier on the ears. This not only improves the work environment, but it also enhances overall productivity by reducing noise in the production area. With Synergy Plus, you can enjoy a more pleasant welding experience without sacrificing performance or quality.
Tungsten Preheating
Experience the benefits of our AC welding function, which offers automatic preheating of tungsten electrodes for optimal ignition. This feature ensures a reliable ignition and stable arc, resulting in high-quality welds. Additionally, the preheating process greatly reduces the wear and tear on the tungsten electrode, particularly for larger diameters. This leads to longer-lasting electrodes and ultimately, cost savings over time. With our AC welding function, you can achieve consistent results and enjoy a more efficient welding process.
Intelligent Gas Control (IGC)
Introducing IGC – a revolutionary feature that ensures your welding machine always delivers the precise amount of gas needed for every weld. With IGC, you can achieve optimal gas protection, resulting in welds that are free from holes, pores, or impurities. By maintaining consistent gas coverage throughout the welding process, you can achieve superior weld quality with minimal rework. With IGC, you can have peace of mind knowing that your welds will be flawless every time, making it an indispensable tool for any welding professional.
