Description

Weld Star A31 Low Alloy MIG Wire is a copper-coated, heat-resistant wire that contains 0.5% molybdenum. It is suitable for welding carbon and low-alloy steels in all positions. Weld deposits exhibit excellent quality and attractive bead appearance.

Weld Star A31 MIG Wire is suitable for operating at high currents, giving a stable arc with a low amount of spatter. It can be used for single and multi-pass welding requirements. The recommended working temperature is up to 500°C.

Weld Star A31 MIG Wire is precision wound and layered to provide superior wire feeding characteristics. It is typically used for welding creep steels for construction of steam boilers, pressure tanks, gas pipes, shipbuilding sector, petrochemical industry, heat exchangers, building of cranes, and bridges.
