UTP A 3545 Nb TIG welding rod is a nickel alloy welding rod that is ideal for joining and surfacing identical and similar high-heat resistant cast alloys, such as GX-45NiCrNbSiTi45 35. It is commonly used for welding tubes and cast parts of reformer and pyrolysis ovens.
The weld deposit of UTP A 3545 Nb is applicable in low-sulfur, carbon-enriching atmospheres up to 1,175 °C and has excellent creep strength and good resistance against carburization and oxidation. No preheating or post heat treatment is necessary. However, it is important to use a low heat input and limit the interpass temperature to a maximum of 150 °C.
UTP A 3545 Nb is approved by CE and is available in a variety of diameters to suit your welding needs.
