The ESAB ARCAIR SLICE Striker Assembly is a critical component of the SLICE exothermic cutting system. It is responsible for creating the initial spark that ignites the cutting rod, allowing you to cut through virtually any material, including metal, concrete, and brick.
The Striker Assembly features a heavy-duty copper bar that is designed to withstand the extreme heat and wear of exothermic cutting. It also has a slide mechanism that allows you to expose only a small portion of the copper bar at a time, which extends the life of the assembly.
The Striker Assembly is easy to use and maintain. Simply connect it to the SLICE battery ignition source and insert a cutting rod into the torch. When you press the trigger on the torch, the Striker Assembly will create a spark that ignites the cutting rod. You can then begin cutting immediately.
