5356 Aluminium TIG Rods / Wire

5356 aluminium TIG rods are a general-purpose filler metal that is used for welding magnesium-bearing aluminium alloys. These rods have excellent corrosion resistance and high strength, making them ideal for applications where these properties are important. 5356 rods can be used in all welding positions, except vertical down. They are also suitable for welding components that are to be subsequently anodised.

5356 rods are typically available in diameters of 1.6mm, 2.4mm, and 3.2mm. They can be purchased in a variety of weights, from 1kg to 5kg packs.
