- For the new 3M™ Speedglas™ Welding Helmet Series 100 there is a magnifying lens holder built into the welding filter, making lens installation easier and more secure. For the older 100 series filters you will need a holder for the magnifyer (spare part 171017).
- For the 3M™ Speedglas™ Welding Helmet SL you will need to add the holder for magnifyer as a separate spare part (171031).
- Magnifies objects by 1.0 times the normal power.
- For older 3M™ Speedglas™ Welding Helmet Series 100 the magnifier holder is sold separately

The 1.0X magnifier is used for magnifying object 1.0X’s the normal power. Can be used with all Speedglas welding helmets.
