Argweld® Inflatable Weld Pipe Purging Dams offer an affordable alternative to the labour-intensive practice of handcrafting plastic foam or cardboard dams on-site. These innovative dams are made from advanced materials with low outgassing rates, making them ideal for applications where Argweld® Tandem Pipe Purging Systems or traditional Purge Bladder Systems may not be suitable.

The Argweld® Inflatable Weld Purge Dams are incredibly user-friendly and can be effortlessly inserted into the piping system. They are available in a wide range of diameters, allowing for seamless integration with other dam styles or sizes used elsewhere in the piping system.

By investing in Argweld® Inflatable Weld Pipe Purging Dams, welders can eliminate the need for expensive and time-consuming manual dam construction. These dams provide a cost-effective solution while maintaining high-quality standards, making them a preferred choice for welders looking to optimize their purging processes.

Benefits

Single Ended Dams are designed for closing welds and joints where a Tandem Pipe Purging System is not required.
They are ideal for tight bends, T-piece joints, dome end connections, and similar applications.
These dams provide an excellent grip within the pipe and ensure a reliable all-around seal.
Each dam is equipped with a weld purge gas inflation hose, an exhaust port for purge gas exit, and an additional hose for extra gas input, allowing for faster purging and achieving interpass temperature specifications for weld cooling.
The dams facilitate the attainment of a zero colour (non-oxidised) weld, ensuring high-quality results.
An additional hose is available for attaching a Weld Purge Monitor®, enhancing control and monitoring of the welding process.
Single Ended Dams are quick, fast, and extremely simple to use, facilitating efficient installation.
