ProtectoScan EDI: Cloud-based air quality monitoring system for industrial workplaces
The ProtectoScan EDI is an environmental detection instrument (EDI) that provides intelligent, data-driven protection and interaction in the industrial workplace. It is a cloud-based system that monitors and records real-time data for dust/fume particulate, noise, temperature, and humidity. The EDI alerts users to any notable issues with an LED traffic light display, and sends email alerts when exposure limits are surpassed.
The EDI is independently certified and can help employers protect the health of their employees by enabling them to take appropriate measures to improve air quality. The Extractability service and provision of a full report and certificate of calibration are also essential for employers to fulfil their duty of care.
