Description

The Portwest FR65 Molten Metal Jacket is designed to protect workers from the hazards of molten metal splash, heat, flames, and arc flash. It is made from a lightweight and durable fabric that is certified to meet the highest standards for flame retardancy and molten metal protection.

The FR65 jacket features a number of design features that enhance its safety and comfort, including:

  • A high neck collar and storm flap to protect against splashes of molten metal
  • Stud-adjustable cuffs for a secure fit
  • Radio loops for easy clipping of a radio
  • Two front pockets for secure storage of small items
  • A curved back hem for added protection

The FR65 jacket is also certified to meet EN ISO 11611 Class 2 (A1+A2), EN 1149-5, IEC 61482-2, IEC 61482-1-2 APC 1, and ASTM F1959/F1959M-14e1 (ATPV=13 Cal/CM2 (HAF=84.9%)).
